Regarding how to send fan letters and apply for support (241021 ver.)

This is EDAM Entertainment.


We would like to thank all the fans who always support IU.
We hereby re-announce how to send the fan letters since the address has changed due to the agency’s relocation. Mails cannot be received at the previous address so we hope there are no misunderstandings, and please refer to the below for more details.

[How to send fan letters and gifts]

Delivery visit to the company or delivery to the artist in person is not allowed, so please use postal or courier service.

* Caution
- Fan letters sent by fans will be delivered safely to the artist. (If you request confirmation of receipt via email, we will not send you a separate response.)
- When you send the fan letter, please include the artist’s name correctly. (Example: IU, Lee Jieun)
- We cannot receive EMS packages with payment on delivery and customs fees, and such cases will be returned.
- We cannot receive mail and courier deliveries on weekends and holidays.
- If you visit the agency and leave the fan letter without permission, the fan letter will be discarded immediately.
 

[How to apply for support]
If you’d like to proceed with support, please pre-apply via email using the application format below and make arrangements with the staff in charge.

* Caution
- We can only accept gifts that have been discussed with the staff in charge in advance. Support that hasn’t been pre-discussed will not be accepted under any circumstances and we will not be responsible for any disadvantages due to it.
- Schedule support can only be applied for as a group.
- You can only apply for support for birthdays, anniversaries and officially announced schedules, (we will reply with the availability after consulting with the organizers), and support cannot be arranged for private schedules.
- Any items that differ from the application cannot be delivered with the support.
- If there are multiple support applications for the same schedule, priority will be given to the team that applies first.
- Even if the artist herself does not participate in person, please consult and share any support activities held under the artist’s name in advance. (Volunteer work, donations, advertising etc.)
Please be aware that items that are easily rotten or prone to damage due to external conditions during delivery (such as food, bottle etc.) cannot be delivered, and items that are possible to spoil such as cake (including sugar clay cake) and flowers also cannot be delivered as well.
 
 
[Regarding flower gifts and banner installation]
We do not provide official data such as images from the artist’s album, press releases, high-resolution files of the official images etc. Furthermore, if you use images taken by others, please make sure you consult with the individual or group who took the photo before to avoid any issue regarding the source of the photo and note that the agency will not be held responsible for any problems arising in this regard.

* Flower wreath (The flower wreath cannot be displayed in the agency)
1. Those who wish to display flower wreath support on anniversaries, please fill in ‘5. Support item and content / quantity ‘ on the application format
① Installation date / ② Removal date / ③ Phrase on the flower wreath / ④ Type and quantity of the flower wreath, and send it to us at least 3 days prior. (You cannot install it if you don’t apply it in advance and it cannot be installed within the agency)

2. If you are using the artist’s image to create it, please attach the image you will be using as well.

3. We thank the genuine love from the fans but we would appreciate it if you could send flower wreaths that can be donated. Also, we cannot deliver the wreath (including the message ribbons and the images) to the artist. Thank you for your cooperation. 
 
* Banner (The banners cannot be installed in the agency.)
1. Those who wish to install banners, please fill in ‘5. Support item and content / quantity’ on the application format
① Installation date / ② Removal date / ③ Phrase on the banner / ④ Size and quantity of banners, and send it to us at least 3 days prior to the installation date. (You cannot install it if you don’t apply it in advance and it cannot be installed within the agency)

2. If you are using the artist’s image to create it, please attach the image you will be using as well.

3. Like the flower wreath, we appreciate the heartfelt support from the fans but we cannot deliver the used banner to the artist. We appreciate your understanding.
 

Moreover, if you have any questions regarding how to send fan letters or support, please email iu-official@daum.net and note that this notice may be updated in the future.

Also, please note that delivering fan letters and gifts by visiting the agency, practice studio, makeup∙hair salon or any other private locations will not be permitted under any circumstances. A warning will be issued once you’re caught visiting and we will not be responsible for any disadvantages due to it.
